The Flash is a 2019 superhero action film based on the DC Comics character, The Flash. The story features the Wally West incarnation of The Flash and his first major adventure as a standalone hero against the evils of Gorilla Grodd. It is the third film in the DCCU.
Plot[]
Teenage Wally West gained super speed the night his uncle, Barry Allen took him to his lab. Though at first, Wally had a hard time controlling his super-fast thought process and metabolism, he has since mastered them uses his speed to solve personal problems. Having no issue revealing these powers to the outside world, Wally is eventually discovered by reporter Linda Park, who, though irritating to deal with, Wally inevitably finds attractive. When Wally's hometown of Keystone is caught in a crisis led by a super-intelligent, telepathic gorilla named Grodd, Wally, with help from his uncle Barry, finds the courage to use his powers for the good of mankind, rather than himself. Donning a friction-resistant, skin-tight suit, Wally sets out to stop Grodd and his squadron of telepathically-controlled gorillas. Upon Grodd's defeat, the gorilla prince, Nnamdi, claims his right to the throne of Gorilla City, bringing peace throughout the world once more.
